These Vibey Ski Stays Are More Affordable Than You Might Think.

Let’s all be honest here, as much as we love to ski - it can be pretty dang expensive. Well, we are here to say that you shouldn't have to sacrifice style for an inexpensive lodging experience. We rounded up our favorite ski stays that are easy on the eyes and easier on the wallet.

No 1. Aspen, CO

Hotel Option: Limelight Hotel

Avgerage Cost per Night: $285
The Limelight Hotel is first on our list and let me tell you, it’s all green lights for this ski stay. (Badum tss 🥁) This downtown hotel has the best of both worlds weather you are looking for a little nightlife or ready to hit the slopes. With shuttles to the mountains, a hot tub, and a breakfast buffet this hotel has everything you need and more!

This Innsbruck Luxury condo is a beautifully decorated one bedroom with all the benefits of a hotel. Our favorite feature? From it’s name to it’s modern design, this hotel is just straight up cool. Located at the base of Park City Mountain Resort and in the heart of Canyons Village, you are walking distance to all the ski and snowboarding fun! We love the social aspect of this ski stay featuring lot’s of lounge areas/fire pits, a hot tub and our favorite - an arcade room!

Avgerage Cost per Night: $179
Can you say mountain views? Wake up every morning with your favorite AM beverage and enjoy looking out the spacious windows to the beautiful scenery. This is the perfect condo for skiing the greatest snow on earth and just across the street from Park City Mountain’s First Time Lift. Located in the center of town within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and grocery this posh ski stay has it all.

No 3. Big Bear, CA

Hotel Option: Noon Lodge at Mallard Bay

Average Cost per Night: $200
I am obsessed with this cozy boutique mountain getaway. combining vintage charm with modern design. Noon Lodge strikes that perfect balance between smart clean design and rustic outdoor charm. This boutique lodge is located on a quiet residential street just 1.3 miles from Big Bear Lake village center’s restaurants, shops, and activities and is just a quick 11 minute drive to the slopes. We also highly recommend you check out Noon Lodge in the summer for cannon balls, s'mores, and stargazing!

This nature lover’s paradise is just 10 minutes to the mountains and close by to almost everything Big Bear has to offer. Don’t mind me, just putting in my PTO request now because this ski stay is sure to fill up quickly.

Average Cost per Night: $150
With cozy yet modern design, this hotel feels like you’re in the heart of a ski town, but in the year 2021. Located in the center of downtown and minutes away from the mountains, we can not recommend this stay more. If you have the chance we also recommend checking out The Kneadery - a cozy breakfast and lunch spot just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Average Cost per Night: $191
Minutes from downtown Ketchum & the Warm Springs base, this modern one bedroom rental is a short walk to the bus stop and all the activities on your to do list. You will feel like you’re living the luxe life with heated tiles in the bathrooms to keep your toes warm in the winter and a rain shower for a spa-like experience. Did I mention there’s a hot tub?

No. 5 Taos, New Mexico

Hotel Option: Taos Inn

Average Cost per Night: $180
A locally-rooted hotel steeped in rich history and culture, Taos Inn sits amongst the majestic landscape of New Mexico. I mean the name says it all, this one is for all you artsy souls. Very few people have been able to walk away from this home without falling in love with it, us included. The eclectic design, grand windows, and beautiful views make this a unique retreat. It's about a 20 minute drive to the ski mountain and 15 minutes to downtown Taos. Perfect for those who are seeking a private vacation surrounded by nature, but still want access to town. Plus there is a natural hot spring nearby. BRB packing my bags now!
Artsy Earthship

No. 6 Jackson Hole, WY

Hotel Option: Anvil Hotel

Average Cost per Night: $150
It’s all about the details here. Rooms feel like they’ve always been here, but are undoubtedly modern. The vibes? Immaculate. Plus they collect $1 from every room night booked to support community partners including Jackson Hole Center for the Arts, Slow Food in the Tetons, Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club, Animal Adoption Center and Teton Science School. We love a hotel that looks good and does good! Just 30 Minutes from Jackson Hole Ski Resort, this chic hotel makes for the perfect ski getaway.

Average Cost per Night: $195
This cute ski stay is just 6 miles to one of Grand Teton National Parks’s entrances. 15 minutes to Jackson Hole Ski Resort and a quick, easy walk to all that the Aspens has to offer--gourmet market, wine/spirits store, Persephone's Cafe/Bakery, bike path, and more. A wood burning fire place in the living area sets the perfect ambiance after a day of exploring, and keep an eye out - you may even see some pretty cool wildlife!
